* If Dip Switch 5 is set ON when using the RS-232C
Interface, Pin 25 of the connector will be set to +5V. If Dip Switch 5 is set OFF, Pin 25 is Not Used.
Operation Panel
To print current settings.Turn the Power Switch ON then take Printer OFFLINE by pressing the ONLINE key.
Hold down the PRINT FONT/TEST key until the LCD displays "STATUS PRINT".
The Operation panel consists of eight keys four LED indicators and an LCD display.
To Change the Function &
Menu
The various settings of functions are arranged in up to seven directories. Take the printer OFFLINE,
press the function key and the display flashes with the directory name. To change directory press either the
UP or DOWN keys to toggle through the six or seven directories. Once you have found your directory press the
SET key to enter the directory. The LCD flashes with the name of the function and the current setting. To move
to a different function use the UP or DOWN keys. To change the setting on the display press the SET key
again, and the Function setting flashes, then use the UP or DOWN keys. Having changed the setting press the
SET key to store in memory.
To exit the Set Up mode and save your settings, press the ONLINE key. To exit without saving press the
CONTINUE/RESET key.
