BATM’s DoubleGold Hub series represent the latest technology in dual speed 10/100Mbps auto-negotiation Ethernet Hubs. DoubleGold Hubs are designed to provide solutions for installations of any size, from SOHO’s to powerful workgroups, by enabling optimal growth while preserving the legacy Ethernet network investment. The hubs’ auto-negotiation feature enables network upgrades on an “as-needed” basis, making them ideal for mixed-speed network environments. Auto-sensing RJ45 ports detect connection speed of either 10 or 100Mbps. Traffic is automatically routed to the 10 or 100Mbps internal bus segment.
DoubleGold Hubs implement a built-in internal switch that allows communication between 10Mbps
and 100Mbps ports, providing a shared LAN for all users. Alternatively, the hubs can be set as 10BaseT or 100BaseTx when all the connecting nodes are 10 or 100Mbps, respectively. Up to 5 Hubs can be stacked together, supporting up to 120 ports in a single stack. Standard MII interface enables numerous modules to be connected together for uplink connection, including 100BaseTx and 100BaseFx.
