The Titan T2 10/100BaseT/TX Fast Ethernet switch series is designed to alleviate increasing network congestion caused by the use of high-speed applications. The switch has 24 10/100 Fast Ethernet ports, and is the ideal solution for workgroup environments that require high-bandwidth as well as integrated connectivity to the network backbone.
The 24 port Titan T2 possesses a robust amount of highly advanced features, such as 802.1d Spanning Tree Algorithm, 802.1q VLANs, 802.3x flow control, port trunking, and RMON. Together with over 4000 port based VLANs, RMON can be utilized in order to efficiently administer network resources. Port trunking allows for cost-effective high-bandwidth connections of up to 800 Mbps full duplex.
Drawing on the low-cost high-performance architecture of the Titan T2, network managers can enjoy fast LAN speeds and comfortably migrate to higher-performance networks, while preserving legacy LAN investments. Full SNMP support is an integral part of the 24 port Titan T2. The bountiful access avenues, via Web, Telnet, or console, afford network managers simple and adequate means to implement network policy.
