The Titan T5Compact 10/100/1000 Ethernet switch provides the high performance in a super-compact, super-efficient size.
The Titan T5Compact’s small size, only 1U in height, affords not only the capacity of physically larger backbone switches, but also the economy offered by workgroup switches.
Very high port density means that a single Titan T5Compact is capable of supporting 48 10/100 auto-sensing ports and 2 small form factor (SFF) Gigabit Ethernet ports with either LC, MT-RJ, or VF-45 interfaces. Utilizing the Gigabit Ethernet ports, the LAN can be extended to a distance of up to 70km. Apart from the Titan T5Compact’s great performance capabilities it also supports many important features, such as port trunking, IEEE 802.1q VLAN, IEEE 802.1d Spanning Tree Algorithm, IEEE 802.3x Flow Control and Backpressure, Layer 3 IP switching, IEEE 802.1p Class of Service, Type of Service, and redundant power supplies.
Titan T5Compact switches are fully manageable via SNMP or the Web. Web management is possible by utilizing embedded Java™ based management technology. These are all features that are necessary to keep today’s networks in apple-pie order.
